I live at the top of a haunted hill.
No matter how many decorations I put out, children refuse the climb to my door for trick-or-treating.
How haunted is it?
The neighbor kids have actually named it, “The Haunted Forest.”
I don’t know if this says something about the work ethic of today’s youth, or if it’s just too scary for Halloween.
(Or that they’re smarter about the destructive health effects of sugar).
It’s a bummer, because I love seeing the kids in their costumes.
Nonetheless, I’m celebrating the entire month of October.
And there’s plenty to celebrate.
My UnTarot deck is in line to be printed on October 13th. It’s not a Friday, but the date seems auspicious.
October 17th, I’m holding a Zoom chat with cozy mystery and witch mystery writer Diane Wing, and you’re invited.
Diane has also written a book on Tarot, so we’ve got lots in common.
But the most important part of all that is, YOU’RE INVITED.
It starts at 4:30 PST, 7:30 EST.
You can RSVP for my chat with Diane HERE.
We may even do a Tarot reading or two!
And then, October 21st - the 25th, I’m holding FIVE Facebook live kitchen witch classes!
Years ago, I created a 5-day Kitchen Witch email challenge for my Doyle Witch mystery novels.
My fictional kitchen witch, Jayce Bonheim, is cute and fun, and so is the challenge.
But I’ve learned more about kitchen witchery since then.
It’s time for an update.
So, I’ll be presenting video “supplements” to each day of the email challenge on Facebook live.
If you’ve already done the email challenge, these videos will provide new info and inspiration.
If you haven’t done the email challenge, it’s not too late to start!
Here’s a direct link to the Facebook lives. If you miss them live, you can catch them on my Facebook page later.
I set them for “public” so anyone on or off Facebook can watch them. But I’m also a luddite, so fair warning…
