I’m drawing one card for each sign from the Tarot’s Major Arcana and the second from its elemental suit. E.g. since Leo is a fire sign, one card is drawn from the Major Arcana and one from the Tarot’s fire suit, wands, for Leo. (Standard disclaimer: Tarotscopes are for entertainment purposes only).
Leo, July 23 – August 22: The World and the Ace of Wands. This is your power month, Leo, when the creative energy of the Ace connects with joy and success. The only thing that can stop you is you -- specifically, if you don't charge forward. The stars are aligned - take advantage!
Virgo, August 23 – September 22: Death and the 10 of Pentacles. Success is a marvelous thing, but clinging to it (or the desire for it) can lead to stagnation. Let go of your fears and expectations.
Libra, September 23 – October 22: The Lovers and the 3 of Swords. Your emotions are driven by your thoughts (everyone's are). You have a choice - where do you want your thoughts and emotions to run? Silencing the monkey mind can be tough, but there is an alternative - spend more time in your heart space (e.g. by breathing into it).
Scorpio, October 23 - November 21: The Tower and the Three of Cups. If you have any lingering resentments towards others or are having a hard time forgiving, do it now, or risk an explosion. Your ego may want to hold on to bad feelings, but Mr. Ego needs to be taken down a peg or two. And remember, none of us are perfect, so approach the situation with love (and humor).
Sagittarius, November 22 – December 21: Justice and the Queen of Wands. These cards call for you to be good to yourself and think about what you deserve. And yes, you deserve wonderful things! To get them, you may have to get out of your cave and get into the world though.
Capricorn, December 22 – January 19: The Empress and the Ace of Pentacles. This is a fertile month for you, Capricorn, especially in the area of manifestation. But don't think manifestation is all about thinking and wishing, you also have to take loving action. This is a good month to do it with the planets working hard in your favor.
Aquarius, January 20 – February 18: The Magician and the 10 of Swords. When things look dire, call B.S. It's in your head! You are the magician, and that means you can push through whatever life throws at you. It also means you really can change the negative voice(s) in your head. But you have to want to.
Pisces, February 19 – March 20: The Hierophant and the 6 of Cups. What rituals and traditions are calling to you? Listen to the call. The modern world seems bent on exorcising these from our lives, but they have an important role, helping us celebrate transitions and face what comes.
Aries, March 21 – April 19: The High Priestess and the King of Wands. Part of you may want to charge forward while another part wants to go inward. The key is to understand that these two desires are not in conflict. The King of Wands doesn't charge blindly - he uses the insight of the High Priestess to make things happen in an intelligent way. So who is this High Priestess? She's the voice of your intuition, your subconscious. Don't keep her locked away.
Taurus, April 20 – May 20: The Wheel of Fortune and the 9 of Pentacles. You've been working hard, and the payoff is on its way. But you may be feeling some whiplash from all the ups and downs. They're not going to stop. The only way to get off that wheel is to find your center and don't take it all too seriously.
Gemini, May 21 – June 20: Temperance and the Nine of Swords. Fear and doubt aren't always bad things. They're part of our evolutionary toolkit - warning signs to keep us safe. But balance is required so those voices don't paralyze us. Your challenge for the month: what do you need to do to find that balance?
Cancer, June 21 – July 22: The Hanged Man and the 10 of Cups. The 10 of Cups is an awesome card, about attaining love and all sorts of good things on the emotional plane. The Hanged Man says this good feeling is going to stick around for a while, so enjoy it! Revel in the remains of summer.
