I’m drawing one card for each sign from the Tarot’s Major Arcana and the second from its elemental suit. E.g. since Sagittarius is a fire sign, one card is drawn from the Major Arcana and one from the Tarot’s fire suit, wands, for Sagittarius. (Standard disclaimer: Tarotscopes are for entertainment purposes only).
Sagittarius, November 22 – December 21: The Fool and the Page of Wands. These two cards are about beginnings, taking chances, and trying something new, even if it's outside your comfort zone. In fact, "outside the zone" could be just what you need to light your energetic and creative spark now.
Capricorn, December 22 – January 19: Temperance and the Eight of Pentacles. This could be a very productive month for you, but Temperance warns of burnout. Be sure to bring the proper balance of fire and water, hot and cold, energy and rest to whatever your passion is this month.
Aquarius, January 20 – February 18: The Sun and the Page of Swords. This month represents an exciting opportunity for personal growth, and other people are going to notice your sparkle. Be open to new ideas and to try new things, and see where it takes you. Let your bold self shine! (I know it's in there).
Pisces, February 19 – March 20: The High Priestess and the Five of Cups. If things haven't worked out quite the way you hoped, never fear. Like most things, it's all a matter of perspective, and frequently our perspective doesn't clarify until the show is well in the rear-view mirror. You still have allies and successes and strength at your back. Turn around and focus on them to move forward, but don't neglect to look for the message in any losses.
Aries, March 21 – April 19: The Magician and the Nine of Wands. As the year winds down and the days grow darker, you may find your energy ebbing as well, but get ready for a second wind. The Magician promises that you can still make the magic happen, and there is more excitement to come.
Taurus, April 20 – May 20: The Emperor and the Three of Pentacles. Yes, it is possible to get things done this month, though you may feel pulled in multiple directions. The key to making things happen for you is organization and strategy. So get out that daily/monthly planner, set yourself some goals, and hit them. This is also a good month to work with others, but be prepared to do some wrangling.
Gemini, May 21 – June 20: Death and the Three of Swords. Something's coming to an end, and you may be feeling the loss. But the harder you hang on to what needs to be released, the more painful it's going to be. Let go and have faith that this ending is clearing the path for a new beginning. Next!
Cancer, June 21 – July 22: The Chariot and the Page of Cups. You're driven to move things forward this month. The good news is you have the power to do so, especially if you combine your intuition and beginners mind with focused will. The bad news is you should beware of unconscious beliefs that may be pulling you in the opposite direction.
Leo, July 23 – August 22: The Hierophant and the Three of Wands. Your ship is coming in, and now is not the time to color outside the lines. To make things happen, dot your i's, cross your t's, and don't be afraid to ask for help from someone who's more experienced in the matter than you are.
Virgo, August 23 – September 22: The Hanged Man and the Nine of Pentacles. You're in a good position, and you've worked hard for what you have. If you feel a bit stuck now, it's okay. Relax into it, enjoy this well-earned pause, and know that something awesome is just around the corner. The fire hasn't died inside you. It's just taking a much-needed break.
Libra, September 23 – October 22: The Hermit and the Eight of Swords. Beware of mind traps -- first and foremost, your own. You're not boxed in here. The Hermit can show you a way out, if you're willing to follow the light of your own soul and watch your mental barricades shatter.
Scorpio, October 23 – November 21: The Moon and the Ace of Cups. Your intuition and subconscious expresses itself fully this month, and lead you to all sorts of marvelous people and places. This is a month for beginnings - especially in new relationships (including romantic ones). Follow your instincts.
