November Tarotscopes!

November Tarotscope Kirsten Weiss

I’m drawing one card for each sign from the Tarot’s Major Arcana and the second from its elemental suit. E.g. since Scorpio is an water sign, one card is drawn from the Major Arcana and one from the Tarot’s water suit, cups, for Scorpio. (Standard disclaimer: Tarotscopes are for entertainment purposes only).

Scorpio, October 23 – November 21: the Star and the King of Cups. Hope shines eternal, and you have good reason for optimism. The planets are aligning, with the go-getting, creative King of Cups leading you to success. He reminds us that nothing happens merely by dreaming or wishing. We must take intelligent action to succeed.

Sagittarius, November 22 – December 21: Ace of Wands and the World. Success is your word of the month, Sagittarius. The Ace of Wands contains all the fiery, creative energy of its suit. Combine that with the World, which promises... the world, and you've got some serious mojo at your fingertips. Now... Will you use it? Or will you sit this month out?

Capricorn, December 22 – January 19: Wheel of Fortune and the Page of Pentacles. So many opportunities, so many possibilities! The Page of Pentacles approaches them with cautious beginner's mind, ready to try something new. However, while the page may be young, but he's already learned the value of looking before leaping.

Aquarius, January 20 – February 18: The Sun and the Nine of Swords. Your imagination is a double-edged sword, Aquarius. It can lead to revelations, but it can also lead to nightmares. Here's the thing -- revelations are true. Nightmares are all in your head. Take care that you know which is which.

Pisces, February 19 – March 20: Death and the Queen of Cups. Change is in the air, and it's exciting! Scary too, like most big changes are. But the Queen of Cups promises adventure to come, if you're willing to embrace it and others.

Aries, March 21 – April 19: The Hanged Man and the King of Wands. The King of Wands is ready for intelligent, effective, action, but the Hanged Man says "wait." Weirdly enough, waiting is an action too (it just might not feel very exciting). This card combination is about timing. It asks us to put some thought behind when the right time is, and not to be afraid to act when that time comes.

Taurus, April 20 – May 20: The Emperor and the King of Pentacles. Rulers don't just start things - they finish them, and this is your month to make things happen. But kings don't get things done on their own -- they engage the resources and people at hand. Don't try to do it all on your own.

Gemini, May 21 – June 20: The Fool and the Queen of Swords. This card combination asks you to bring the power of play into your intellectual life. Logic and fun are not mutually exclusive. Try harnessing these two forces together and watch the magic unfold!

Cancer, June 21 – July 22: Strength and the Three of Cups. You can find your strength through others -- not IN others, through them. By helping others, taking joy in companionship, you're own heart will expand, and you'll find new reservoirs within yourself.

Leo, July 23 – August 22: Justice and the Four of Wands. Right action toward others. By doing justice to others, we do justice to ourselves. Do you really know the other person's motivations, or are you projecting your own fears? A meeting of the minds may never be possible, but that doesn't mean the other person is evil -- just that you disagree.

Virgo, August 23 – September 22: Judgment and the Six of Pentacles. Are you giving away too much or not enough? This combination asks you to reflect on where your energy and resources are flowing, and determine if you need to make some adjustments. What are your true motivations? What are the benefits to you and others?

Libra, September 23 – October 22: The Empress and the Five of Swords. Beware of a creeping subconscious fear that success is something to feel guilty about. It only needlessly undermines you. Look for the win-win in the situation.
